On a guided fly fishing trip for Trout we primarily fish the Caney Fork River, about an hour East of Nashville, TN. There are Rainbows, Browns and Brook Trout in the Caney.

Thanks to new regulations put in place by the TWRA in 2010 the new creel on the Caney is 5 Trout.

All Brown Trout less than 24” must be released unharmed, only one over 24” may be kept.

All Rainbow and Brook Trout between 14” and 20” must be released unharmed, only one over 20” may by kept.

We at Game Fair, Ltd. strongly suggest practicing catch and release. Take a picture of the fish! If you want a mount done we can point you in the direction of some great taxidermists for replica mounts.
